The character Neal Cassidy often repeats the line “we know time” in Kerouac’s book “On the road”. Francesco Arena’s Times borns from this line of Kerouac, the Cassidy’s motto. The phrase is declined in different verbal times: present, past and future: WE KNOW TIME – WE KNEW TIME – WE WILL KNOW TIME.

The structure of the line is also inverted: TIME KNOWS US – TIME KNEW US – TIME WILL KNOW US

The six variations are engraved on a 50x50x1, polished bronze plate by wich observers could being reflected.
