Marble mud; 10x68x10 cm
Passi persi (marzo 2020) is a parallelepiped of marble mud, the waste material from marble cutting, 68 centimeters long, the average length of a step of mine; 10 cm wide and high, the block is a unit of measurement. One of the two ends of the upper face has engraved: x 71,806, corresponding to the fewer steps I took in March 2020 compared to the same period of the previous year. The sculpture is made of a material which flakes away, and at the end of the exhibition the sculpture gets destroyed.
