Pilastro (Pillar) is a vertical element that connects the floor with the ceiling, an unfinished pillar. I intend to insert a metal prop of the kind used to reinforce ceilings, which exploit the pressure between floor and ceiling. Around this prop I will build a clay column, without the aid of a ladder, so that it will only be as high as I can reach on tiptoe.
