The distance from Budapest central station to the austrian border it’s 170 km. In the autumn of 2015 300 immigrants coming from Syria cover this distance by feet when they were obliged to abort their travel by train.

The bar’s dimensions are the same of the artist’s footprint and multiplying the number engraved on the bar for its size the result will be the distance that separates Budapest central station from the austrian border.
