Cartello is a representation of a demonstration sign, one that usually consists of a square or

rectangular sign attached to a pole so that one can hold it with one's hands and lift it up. This sign

has no specific derivation, it is one of many, it could come from a photo of a 1920s strike in the

past century as well as being one of the signs that today's teenagers use in their demonstrations

for environmental protection. There is nothing written on the sign, it is resting on the ground, where there should be the phrase for which it was made and whose support would be there is a lit

candle spreading its wax on the surface of the sign.
